MPL-2.0 (artilleryio/artillery), release artillery-2.0.34 (2026-08-14). Tests HTTP, WebSocket, Socket.io, gRPC, Kinesis and more. Distributed runs on your own AWS account need no extra infrastructure. 20+ integrations for monitoring and CI. ★~9.1k.
The Catch
The hosted Artillery Cloud dashboard is a separate paid product; the CLI is the free part. Running at scale bills your own AWS account. k6 is the main alternative if you prefer scripting in JavaScript only.
Verdict
A solid OSS load tester, especially for Playwright-based browser tests.
