What's Good
The zero-codegen approach means types flow naturally from server to client. React Query integration handles caching, mutations, and optimistic updates. The procedure-based API encourages small, focused endpoints.
The Catch
TypeScript only—this is not for mixed-language teams. The tight coupling means you lose the API as a standalone artifact.
Verdict
TypeScript APIs as they should be—type-safe by default.
