What's Good
The query builder stays close to SQL syntax—if you know SQL, you know Drizzle. Zero dependencies and excellent tree-shaking make it edge-friendly. Migrations are SQL files, which some teams prefer.
The Catch
Less magic means more typing. Relation handling requires more manual work than Prisma. The ecosystem is smaller.
Verdict
SQL-first type safety for the abstraction-allergic.
