What's Good
Apache-2.0. Debit/credit double-entry, strict serializability, replica safety. Single static binary. The docs are explicit: ledgers, not general CRUD.
The Catch
Not a Postgres replacement. No ad-hoc SQL, no JSON documents. Clustered replicas. If you needed a general database, this is the wrong gem.
Verdict
The financial transactions database. Apache-2.0, specialized on purpose.
