What's Good
AGPL-3.0. Implements Pusher Protocol v7 — existing Pusher clients plug in. Self-host the WebSocket server. App keys/secrets, channels, broadcasting. Cloudflare Workers path exists in the README.
The Catch
Drop-in Pusher-protocol server, not Socket.IO in-process and not Centrifugo language-agnostic PUB/SUB. AGPLv3 is network copyleft. Hosted plans were not verified here — none invented.
Verdict
AGPL Pusher-protocol server. Free as in you run it; do not assume a Cloud SKU.
