The Catch
Search + analytics inside Postgres (pg_search) — not a separate search server. Distinct from Typesense/Meilisearch (cut: no free forever Cloud). Loud: Cloud is waitlist/beta — NOT a free hosted tier. Enterprise HA is sales; do not reprint Enterprise.
Verdict
AGPL Postgres search. Community self-host free forever. Cloud is not the free path.
