What's Good
The pipeline abstraction is elegant: components connect through well-defined interfaces. Haystack 2.0 rewrite made composition more intuitive without sacrificing power. The evaluation framework is a standout.
The Catch
Haystack strength is also its constraint. The framework assumes pipeline-based architectures; more exotic agent patterns require workarounds.
