Gotify

MIT self-host push server; Android-first, no ntfy.sh twin

Comms / Notifications · OSS/MIT · 15.8k

What's Good

MIT. Self-host server (REST + WebSocket + WebUI), Android client, first-party CLI. Send via API; subscribe via websocket. You own the box.

The Catch

No public hosted twin like ntfy.sh. Android-first client, not a public pub-sub host. Distinct from ntfy (public ntfy.sh + dual license) and Apprise (CLI fan-out, no inbox).

Verdict

MIT push you self-host. No ntfy.sh-shaped public instance; Android is the client.
