What's Good
MIT (gitify-app/gitify), release v7.10.0 (2026-10-17). Multiple accounts across GitHub Cloud and Enterprise Server, GitLab cloud and self-managed, Gitea (including Forgejo and Codeberg) and Bitbucket Cloud. Mark read, mark done and unsubscribe from the tray where the forge supports it, with filters and themes. Free download or brew install. ★~5.4k.
The Catch
It shows the notifications your forge already sends; it does not add smarter rules or triage. Feature support differs by forge (Bitbucket and Gitea have no mark-done or unsubscribe), and Azure DevOps and Gerrit are not supported. You hand it access tokens for each account.
Verdict
A small, reliable way to stop living in the GitHub notifications tab.
