What's Good
Server AGPL-3.0 self-host is $0. SDK/CLI MIT. Hosted Free: 1 app / 10k events/mo. BYO APNs+FCM — no middleman push vendor lock on credentials. Check current Pro pricing on the vendor site.
The Catch
BYO APNs+FCM on Cloudflare Workers — not ntfy/Gotify self-host pub/sub, not Novu workflow orchestration. Server is AGPL; pitch self-host or Hosted Free caps. Distinct from ntfy, Gotify, and Novu.
Verdict
AGPL Workers push. Self-host $0; Hosted Free is capped — ignore Pro.
