What's Good
MIT. Ships HTML-first pages, islands hydration, brings your own UI framework (React/Vue/Svelte/Solid). Great for docs, marketing, content sites. Content collections and adapters for SSR/hosting.
The Catch
Content-first islands; not Next/RSC. App-router SaaS dashboards often stay on Next. Server islands and adapters vary by host. Not a commerce-only stack.
Verdict
MIT islands framework. Free forever; Next is the RSC cousin.
