When
Add authentication (passkeys/OAuth) to the current Convex app, including auth.config.ts wiring. Installs and wires @convex-dev/auth: provider, server config, client hooks, and a sign-in UI. Passkeys by default; password/OAuth only on explicit request. Not Clerk, not Better Auth, not Auth.js, not WorkOS.
The Catch
Convex Auth (@convex-dev/auth) only — not Clerk, not Better Auth. Missing auth.config.ts silently always-signed-out. Loud Free/Starter card on convex.dev/pricing.
