The Catch
Vs Tailwind CSS (ecosystem gravity) and lightningcss (transform/minify): UnoCSS is the *engine + presets* lane, not the Tailwind company product. Preset/config choice decides whether your class names look familiar; team muscle memory may still prefer stock Tailwind docs and plugins.
Verdict
MIT atomic CSS engine. Free forever; utilities without shipping a full prebuilt sheet.
