MIT. Extremely fast Python type checker and language server from the uv/Ruff team. uvx ty check to try. Incremental analysis aimed at IDE speed.
The Catch
Beta/maturing vs mypy/pyright — say so. Don’t assume it already replaces either tool on every codebase. Distinct from Ruff (lint/format) even though same vendor.
