What's Good

MIT (androoAGI/starnet; installs via androoAGI/starnet-releases). Free desktop builds for Windows/macOS; run-from-source path documented. Station layout maps to real capability grants — rooms, hallways, placed objects — with concurrent bounded agent runs and Telegram/Discord/Slack/Signal/Matrix wiring. ★533 on GitHub.

The Catch

Vs OpenClaw / Multica: messaging employee or coding-agent issue board — StarNet is a visual station harness novelty. Linux has no public release build yet (Win/macOS only). Early release + installer supply-chain note on piped/download installs; treat heat as discovery until the harness loop proves out.

Verdict

MIT local-first station when you want a visual crew harness with real tools/MCP — skip if you need Linux public builds or a simpler CLI agent.
