What's Good
MIT. Realtime, auth, file storage, and an admin UI from a single binary. Embed it as a Go library or run pocketbase serve. JS client talks REST. This is the backend you hand to a friend without a cloud bill.
The Catch
SQLite is the database. Concurrent writes and multi-region are not the product. There is no official hosted PocketBase Cloud. You run the binary, you own backups, you own the disk filling up.
Verdict
The one-binary BaaS. Perfect until you need Postgres.
