What's Good

MIT (lotchuazzz-crypto/papergraph-mcp). Paper Map → proof/citation evidence → scholarly reference resolver → Markdown reading reports and bounded cross-paper expansion. Explicit about extraction limits: empty evidence is reported as extraction failure, not invented math. uvx install from pinned GitHub tags; stdio MCP for research agents.

The Catch

Vs generic RAG over PDFs: PaperGraph is theorem/evidence workflow for math papers, not a general document Q&A store. Does not verify proofs or equate similarly worded theorems; paywalled refs stay blocked unless you supply local PDFs.
