What's Good
MIT (CopilotKit/OpenMuse). Self-hosted API + task worker + browser worker; optional Linux workspace; Goals/Tracking, Ideas, Finance CSV, Gmail/Calendar with human review on writes. Sample mode runs without a model key; mobile via React Native. Compatible with other harnesses via CopilotKit surfaces.
The Catch
Vs CopilotKit core and OpenClaw-class assistants: OpenMuse is the personal-agent application template, not the horizontal UI SDK alone and not a multi-tenant SaaS. Alpha — live Google accounts, CopilotKit Intelligence Rich Threads, and real models need their own keys/config; Node 24 + pnpm 11 pinned. Not multi-user auth.
Verdict
MIT personal-agent starter when you want visible browser/files work on your box; treat live Google + Intelligence paths as optional, configured layers.
