Omnigraph
MIT graph database on object storage with branching, a typed schema and graph + vector + full-text retrieval for agents

What's Good
MIT (ModernRelay/omnigraph), release v0.13.0 (2026-10-07), commit on 2026-10-21. ★~1.5k since April 2026 (~56 a week). Data lives in the open Lance format on local disk or any S3-compatible store. Agents can work on a branch per task and merge back after review, and Cedar policies are checked on every write. The CLI ships its own agent skill, so Claude Code or Codex can operate it.
The Catch
This is a schema-first database, not a drop-in memory layer like Cognee: you write .pg schemas and a cluster.yaml before anything is stored. It is pre-1.0 (v0.13), so expect breaking changes. Omnigraph Cloud is a private-preview waitlist; self-hosting is the free path today.
Verdict
Worth a look if several agents need one typed, versioned world model; overkill for simple chat memory.
