What's Good
MIT. SMTP + IMAP + webmail in one Docker-friendly stack. Real mailboxes for users, not just an HTTP send endpoint. Self-host is free.
The Catch
Full mailbox SMTP/IMAP/webmail — not Resend/Plunk/Postal transactional-or-relay API. Ops-heavy: DNS, TLS, spam, storage. Distinct from Postal, Plunk, and Resend.
Verdict
MIT mailbox suite. Free to run; ops-heavy vs a tx email API.
