Mailpit
MIT local/CI SMTP sink — MailHog successor, not delivery

What's Good
MIT. Single Go binary, MailHog-compatible ports (1025/8025), web UI, REST API, search, TLS. Drop-in image swap from abandoned MailHog.
The Catch
Sink only — not delivery. Not Resend SaaS, not Postal/Listmonk outbound. Do not point production MX here. Distinct from Resend/Postal/Listmonk.
Verdict
MIT MailHog successor for local/CI. Free forever; not a mailer.
