What's Good
Apache-2.0 (juspay/hyperswitch-prism), release v0.6.0 (2026-10-15). Stateless: no database, and credentials and card data are not stored or logged, so you choose your own vault or the processor's. SDKs for Node.js (npm install hyperswitch-prism), Python, Java and Rust, a per-connector coverage table, and an e-commerce demo with Stripe and Adyen. The integrations come from years of production use inside Hyperswitch. ★~1.4k.
The Catch
It is only the translation layer: retries, smart routing and vaulting live in the full Hyperswitch platform, by design. Connector coverage varies by processor and payment method, and some cells are marked in progress or needs validation, so check the coverage table for your exact flows. Pre-1.0. PCI scope still depends on whether card data passes through your servers.
