What's Good
MIT (hyperdxio/hyperdx), developed since 2023 and now the UI of ClickHouse's ClickStack. It is schema-agnostic over your existing ClickHouse tables, supports full-text and property search like `level:err` with optional SQL, live tail, event deltas for anomalies, alerts, high-cardinality dashboards, native JSON querying and OpenTelemetry ingestion. A live demo is available. ★~10k.
The Catch
You need ClickHouse, either self-run (ClickStack bundles it with the OTel collector) or ClickHouse Cloud, and ClickHouse is its own ops skill. Since joining ClickHouse, the direction follows ClickStack. Releases are split between app, CLI and other packages, which makes version tracking fiddly.
Verdict
The best open UI if your telemetry already lives in ClickHouse.
