What's Good

Apache-2.0 (googleworkspace/cli). Commands built at runtime from Google Discovery Service — new Workspace methods show up without a static command list. Structured JSON, `--dry-run`, agent skills pack, npm `@googleworkspace/cli`, Homebrew `googleworkspace-cli`, binary releases. Built for humans and AI agents sharing the same auth’d surface.

The Catch

First-party googleworkspace org surface — but the README states it is not an officially supported Google product. Vs raw Workspace REST / Apps Script: this is the CLI/agent skill layer, not a new API. Needs a GCP project + OAuth; unverified apps hit scope limits; Workspace/Admin API quotas still apply.

Verdict

Apache-2.0 Workspace CLI. First-party org tooling for agents; not a Google support SLA.
