The Catch

Young star count. Requires Node.js 24+. Vs FastMCP (Python) / official TS SDK: those are lighter protocol layers; FrontMCP is a batteries-included server framework, not an MCP host or agent runtime.

Verdict

Apache-2.0 TS MCP server framework when you want decorators/DI/OAuth out of the box — only if Node 24+ is fine and you are building servers, not hosting agents.
