Pydantic integration means request/response validation is declarative and automatic. OpenAPI docs generate from type hints. Async support is first-class. The dependency injection system is powerful without being magical.
The Catch
The ecosystem assumes you will integrate pieces yourself—no batteries-included ORM or auth. Async programming has its own learning curve.
