## When it is useful

Decide when DuckLake is the right MotherDuck storage vs native MotherDuck (the default). Over-fires on lakehouse / Iceberg-on-S3. Native storage is often faster for reads. Not motherduck-load-data ingestion.

## The Catch

Default native storage; over-fires on lakehouse / fights Iceberg-on-S3. Distinct from duckdb-spatial and from motherduck-load-data. Lite 10 GB still applies to native storage.
