## When it is useful

Deploy and operate Infisical self-hosted instances with Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes. Covers architecture, environment variables, ENCRYPTION_KEY management, PostgreSQL, Redis (required noeviction), production hardening, FIPS, scaling, and HA. For deploying the Infisical platform itself. Not the Kubernetes Operator (separate Helm chart) and not using Infisical once running (infisical-setup).
