## When it is useful

Building a SaaS/API that must send webhooks or events to customer destinations (HTTP, SQS, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, EventBridge, Kafka), managed or self-hosted.

## The Catch

Skills MIT; Outpost itself is Apache-2.0 and self-hostable at $0 — the one fully OSS path in this pack. The managed Outpost option is Hookdeck SaaS with its own pricing (hookdeck.com/pricing). Self-host means you run the queue/Redis/Postgres. Upstream skill id is `outpost`.
