## The Hook

Uniterm puts SSH, SFTP, RDP, VNC, SPICE, serial, database and Kubernetes connections in one desktop app, with an AI agent that can plan and run multi-step shell commands in your session.

Apache-2.0 (ys-ll/uniterm), release v1.10.0. Runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, with an Android build. Covers local shells (PowerShell, CMD, Git Bash, WSL), remote desktops, database clients and Kubernetes/Docker/Podman management with pod logs, exec and metrics. ★~830.

## The Catch

The AI agent needs your own API key and endpoint — nothing is bundled — and it runs real commands on the machines you are connected to, so review before approving. The WSL and Windows remote features are Windows-only. Young project. Vs tabby (a mature, extensible terminal with SSH and serial): Uniterm trades polish for far wider protocol coverage and an agent.
