## The Hook

tuios is a Go terminal multiplexer with tiling panes, workspaces and detachable sessions that also tracks coding agents: each pane shows whether its agent is working, waiting for you, done or errored, and one Inbox lists every pending approval across sessions.

## What's Good

MIT (Gaurav-Gosain/tuios), release v0.9.2. `brew install tuios`, also on the AUR. `tuios integration install` wires up 19 harnesses including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and opencode. Answer approvals from the Inbox without jumping to the pane, start one prompt in several agents in separate git worktrees with `tuios fan`, and use the tmux shim for tools that expect tmux. Try it in the browser at tuios.dev/learn before installing. ★~5k.

## The Catch

Pre-1.0, and the feature list moves fast — expect config and keybinding churn between releases. It is a new multiplexer to learn, with vim-style modes, so it costs real muscle memory if you live in tmux. Approving agent prompts from a central Inbox is convenient and also makes it easy to approve something you did not read. Vs cmux (native macOS app, GPL with BSL server parts) and zellij (general multiplexer): tuios runs in any terminal on any OS and is built around agent state.

## Verdict

The MIT, cross-platform terminal for running several coding agents at once — pre-1.0, so pin a version.
