## The Hook

Termix is a self-hosted, plugin-based server management platform — think free, self-hosted Termius — with saved hosts and credentials, an SSH terminal, remote desktop, file manager, Docker and metrics.

## What's Good

Apache-2.0 (Termix-SSH/Termix), release v26.10.2 (2026-10-18). The core stores hosts in folders with tags, reusable credentials, sharing with role levels, API keys and an audit log. Secrets are encrypted per user and the database can be encrypted on disk. It runs on web, desktop and mobile, with SQLite by default and PostgreSQL or MySQL supported. Try it at demo.termix.site. ★~15.6k.

## The Catch

You are centralising SSH keys and passwords for your servers in one web app, so it must be patched, backed up and kept off the open internet. Feature plugins each live in their own repo and move at different speeds. Young compared to Guacamole or Teleport.

## Verdict

A polished self-hosted Termius — treat it like the vault it is.
