Sockudo is the Rust realtime server that keeps Pusher clients and adds durable Protocol V2 when you outgrow fire-and-forget.

## What's Good

MIT. Self-host Rust + Tokio. Protocol V1 keeps pusher-js / Laravel Echo. Protocol V2 adds recovery, history, mutable messages, push, AI Transport. Horizontal fanout adapters.

## The Catch

Vs Soketi: Rust Pusher V1 edge + Protocol V2 recovery/history/mutable/push — not AGPL v7-only. Distinct from Soketi AGPL Protocol v7 drop-in. Self-host is the free path; do not invent Cloud SKUs.

## Verdict

MIT Rust Pusher-compat with V2 durability. Not AGPL Soketi.
