## What's Good

MIT core Community Edition — self-host APM, logs, traces, metrics, alerts. OTel-native ingestion. Cloud Teams from $49/mo with included usage credit. No per-host gimmick on Cloud usage pricing.

## The Catch

Open-core: ee/ enterprise bits (advanced authz/audit-class) are not MIT. Self-host means you operate ClickHouse. Vs Grafana stack/Datadog: all-in-one OTel product, not a la carte LGTM or Datadog SaaS. Cloud is paid after trial.
