## What's Good

MIT. Electron IDE for prompt chains/agents plus @ironclad/rivet-core / rivet-node to run .rivet graphs in Node. External Call nodes bridge your app code. Distinct Ironclad product — not Rivet game engines or unrelated Rivets.

## The Catch

Vs LangGraph (code-first graphs) and Mastra/VoltAgent (TS frameworks): Rivet is visual-graph IDE + embed library, not a coding CLI and not LangChain. Graph quality still depends on your prompts/providers; External Calls need a host app + remote debugger. Desktop-first workflow.
