## The Hook

react-hot-toast adds toast notifications to React with one Toaster component and a toast() call, including a promise API that shows loading, success and error states automatically.

## What's Good

MIT (timolins/react-hot-toast), release v2.6.1 (2026-09-16). Under 5 kB including styles, accessible, and has a headless useToaster() hook if you want to render toasts yourself. ★~11k.

## The Catch

Fewer built-in features than Sonner, such as stacking and action buttons, and slower development. React only.

## Verdict

Pick it when you want the smallest possible toast library.
