Prime Agent keeps an agent in a persistent REPL and uses RLM plus continual harness loops to make self-refinement part of the work session.

## What's Good

MIT. The installer gets you started, and BYO model keys keep provider choice in your hands. Its RLM and Continual Harness framing is for agents that can inspect, revise, and continue rather than treating every prompt as a disposable one-shot completion. The persistent REPL is the practical distinction: state and tools stay available across the loop.

## The Catch

Vs Pi, OpenCode, and OpenHands: this is the PrimeIntellect product, not the Pi coding agent, a general terminal wrapper, or a full autonomous developer platform. Prime Agent is not a security sandbox — its Python execution runs with the permissions you give it. Isolate it yourself before handing it credentials, production access, or untrusted tasks.

## Verdict

MIT persistent REPL agent for RLM and continual self-refine loops. Interesting for research and harness work; never mistake the runtime for a sandbox.
