PrestaShop is the classic PHP cart when headless Node commerce is overkill.

## What's Good

OSL-3.0 core. Self-host the classic catalog/cart/checkout stack. Huge module ecosystem and agency muscle memory. Project site is the OSS pitch.

## The Catch

Loud: installer may bundle optional SA commercial modules — pitch core only. Classic PHP cart, not headless Node (Medusa) and not Magento (HOLD). Distinct from Medusa, Bagisto, Sylius, Spree.

## Verdict

OSL-3.0 PHP cart. Core is free; ignore the module upsell in the installer.
