## The Hook

PartyKit is stateful multiplayer rooms as code when Liveblocks is the hosted collab suite and raw WebSockets are the weekend you lose.

## What's Good

MIT (Cloudflare-owned). PartyServer model on Workers + Durable Objects. TypeScript rooms, Yjs-friendly patterns, partykit deploy to your CF account. No PartyKit seat tax — Workers free tier covers small traffic.

## The Catch

Vs Liveblocks/Yjs+Hocuspocus: room primitive on CF, not prebuilt comments/inbox SaaS. You pay Cloudflare Workers/DO usage at scale. Auth, persistence, and CRDT choice are yours. Post-acquisition roadmap rides CF.

## Verdict
