## The Hook

oha is HTTP load with a live TUI when hey/wrk are CLI-only and k6 is the heavier scripted product.

## What's Good

MIT. hatoo/oha. Tiny Rust/tokio load generator inspired by rakyll/hey — QPS, latency histograms, and a realtime ratatui dashboard while the run is hot. Prebuilt binaries + cargo install; optional native-tls / experimental HTTP3 features. Source github.com/hatoo/oha.

## The Catch

Vs hey (simple Go hammer), vegeta/k6 (scripted/scenarios), and curl loops: oha is the *interactive TUI load* CLI, not a full performance suite with thresholds-as-code. No browser/Web Vitals story. Point it at staging you own — load tests are still an attack if aimed at someone else.

## Verdict

MIT HTTP load TUI. Free forever; hammer your own staging and watch the chart.
