## What's Good

EPL-2.0 OR BSD-3-Clause (EDL-1.0; LICENSE.txt SPDX). OSS self-host forever free. Lightweight MQTT broker. Cedalo Pro is optional commercial — not required for the free path.

## The Catch

MQTT broker, not a NATS messaging fabric. Distinct from Soketi/Laravel Reverb/Centrifugo (WebSocket/Pusher paths). Not a messaging-bus twin of NATS. Cedalo Pro exists; do not invent rates.
