Logto is Auth0-shaped identity you can self-host, with a Cloud that is actually $0 to start.

## What's Good

MPL-2.0. OIDC / OAuth 2.1 / SAML for SaaS: orgs, RBAC, SSO. Cloud Free is 0 USD/mo, no credit card, up to 50,000 MAU. OSS self-host is in the README. Pro from 24 USD/mo.

## The Catch

Cloud Free is for starting out. Passkeys, hiding branding, orgs, MFA, and enterprise SSO live as Pro add-ons. MPL-2.0 is file-level copyleft, not MIT.

## Verdict

The MPL-2.0 Auth0-shaped stack. Use it when Clerk MAUs are the product.
