Lago is usage billing that meters events, not a Stripe dashboard with extra fields.

## What's Good

AGPLv3. Usage, subscriptions, prepaid, entitlements, invoicing. Self-host the OSS engine. REST API, SDKs, webhooks. Not a payment processor — it talks to Stripe, Adyen, and the rest.

## The Catch

Loud: Premium is Contact us. There is no $0 Lago Cloud. Self-host is the free path; Cloud and Premium are quotes. AGPLv3 is network copyleft.

## Verdict

AGPLv3 metering. Self-host or talk to sales — there is no hobby cloud.
