## The Hook

Kener is a lightweight, good-looking status page you self-host: monitors, incidents and maintenance windows on a branded public page, built with SvelteKit and Node.js.

## What's Good

MIT (rajnandan1/kener), release v4.1.7 (2026-10-07). Docker images on Docker Hub and GHCR, a live demo server and docs at kener.ing. It is deliberately simple: set a secret key and origin, start the container and configure monitors and branding from the UI. ★~5.2k.

## The Catch

Its own README says it is not trying to replace Datadog or Atlassian Statuspage; checks run from your server only, so pair it with an external monitor. Smaller community than Uptime Kuma or Gatus, and the 4.x line moved fast.

## Verdict

A pretty, free public status page — the page, not your whole monitoring stack.
