## The Catch

Vs google-adk / mastra / langgraph / agentgateway: ADK/Mastra/LangGraph are code-first agent frameworks; Agentgateway is an MCP/A2A proxy — kagent’s catch is Kubernetes-native agent build/deploy/manage. You need a real cluster and K8s fluency; not the right first tool for a laptop coding-agent seat.

## Verdict

Apache K8s-native agents when fleet deploy lives in the cluster — not ADK/Mastra app frameworks and not Agentgateway proxy alone.
