## The Hook

Fiber is a Go web framework with an Express-like API: routes, middleware and handlers that feel familiar if you come from Node.

## What's Good

MIT (gofiber/fiber), release v3.6.1 (2026-10-14), commit on 2026-10-20. ★~40k (~114 a week). Useful when you want a fast Go HTTP API with a small learning curve, and the bundled middleware covers the usual needs.

## The Catch

It is built on fasthttp, not net/http, so standard-library middleware and handlers don't plug in directly; you need adapters or Fiber's own versions. v3 changed the API from v2, so check which version a tutorial targets.

## Verdict

A quick, friendly Go framework if you accept the fasthttp trade-off.
