## The Hook

dust is the intuitive `du` when you want a size tree at a glance instead of sorting head pipelines.

## What's Good

Apache-2.0. bootandy/dust (crate `du-dust`). Shows the biggest directories/files with a readable tree and bars — no mandatory `-h`/`sort` dance. Cross-platform Rust binary. Source github.com/bootandy/dust.

## The Catch

Vs Yazi (terminal *file manager* / nav ≠ size): dust answers “what is using disk,” not browse/preview/move. Vs plain `du`: opinionated overview, not every POSIX du flag. Permission-denied noise is minimized, but you still need roots you can read.

## Verdict

Apache-2.0 du tree. Free forever; find the fat directories without a file-manager detour.
