## The Hook

drawDB is a free database schema editor in the browser: draw tables and relationships, then export SQL, import existing scripts and generate migrations, without creating an account.

## What's Good

AGPL-3.0 (drawdb-io/drawdb), developed since 2023. Use the hosted app at drawdb.app or self-host with Docker; diagrams are stored locally in your browser, and sharing is optional through a small server you configure. Exports to SQL for several databases plus images and JSON. ★~40.1k.

## The Catch

It has no tagged releases, so self-hosters build from main. Diagrams live in browser storage by default, so export them or you can lose them. It designs schemas; it does not connect to a live database to reverse-engineer or apply changes. AGPL-3.0 if you offer a modified version as a service.

## Verdict

The fastest way to sketch a schema and get SQL out — not a database admin tool.
