## The Hook

Dozzle is a lightweight web UI for realtime container logs — Docker, Swarm, and Kubernetes — without storing a log lake.

## What's Good

MIT (amir20/dozzle). Tiny Docker image, live tail, multi-host/agent mode, Swarm and K8s support, optional auth and SQL-ish filtering in docs. dozzle.dev. Pure live viewing — no disk-eating log archive unless you add one elsewhere.

## The Catch

Vs Grafana/Loki, ELK, Datadog (full observability): Dozzle is lightweight realtime log UI, not metrics/traces/storage/retention. If the container is gone, so is the history Dozzle never kept. Pair with a real log backend when you need audit trails.

## Verdict

MIT live container log UI. Lightweight tail vs full observability stacks.
