## The Hook

Cumora is cross-platform team chat where AI agents sit on the roster as first-class teammates — DMs, groups, Kanban, calendar — via Cumora Cloud pods or BYOA on your machine.

## What's Good

MIT (yetone/cumora). Roster/DMs/groups/Kanban/calendar for humans+agents. BYOA via `npx cumora agent computer` with Claude Code/Codex/etc so the server never sees provider keys; Cumora Cloud pods as the hosted path. Site at cumora.ai. ★3,889 from GitHub API 2026-09-27.

## The Catch

Vs Buzz: Nostr event-log workspace. Vs Multica: issue board. Vs OpenBot: per-bot computers. Vs OpenClaw: messaging employee. Hosted cloud path vs self-run BYOA — OSS repo is the chat+agent product; expect product heat around the cloud lane.

## Verdict

MIT human+agent team chat when roster/Kanban/calendar beats another board or messaging bot — watch the Cloud vs BYOA split.
